The Grand Unbias? I wonder if IBM Watson can make the best political decisions with its socio-analytical cognitive analysis algorithms.
IBM Watson has the ability to scour the internet for information for information about how we work from the literature we write. From this social analysis, Watson formulates hypotheses, compares them to its sources that it deemed reliable, and gives it a level of confidence for its hypothesis. This is pretty amazing. Imagine if we can simply ask Watson, "Would it be best to connect the keystone pipeline or not?" If that algorithm could compare the pros and cons and come up with an unbiased position based on concerns that humans have stated on the internet, Watson could become a valuable voice in the political realm.
